IA (Intruder Alert) is a Warsaw-based collective, that releases music and occasionally organizes concerts. I wrote them because of the booking of Iranian artist Sadaf (who we organized a week-long Central European tour). Unfortunately, we were not able to make a show with Sadaf, but we made a connection.
A couple of weeks later, Katarzyna from IA came back to me with a new compilation Love Songs which features artists like Bokugo, B.yhzz, Chino Amobi, Ditchdog, Ephemeral Harms, Kry, Lilly Kane, MM’99 and Nuji.
As, IA says in a press release, „artists featured on this release are some of the people who shaped the current sound of IA, inspired and helped the label to define its own direction.“
The idea behind LS is that every track carries the element of voice in it, some vocals are raw, some are heavily processed but the human element is present in every piece. IA13 – V/A – Love Songs is scheduled to be premiered on November 21.
It is a unique music compilation showcasing different musical talents from different backgrounds focusing on one theme – Love Songs
IA team also decided that all proceeds from LS’s Bandcamp sales will support The EDGE of Existence program protecting some of the most unique species on the planet, which are on the verge of extinction.

Swine Daily: When did it all start? Who founded the label?
B.yhzz: It all started in 2016 when I decided to make the first event and called it Intruder Alert, but after some time I felt like transforming it into IA – some form of a „label“ – would be a more interesting idea. IA has been releasing music for a while now and occasionally making events.
SD: What other artists, labels, collectives are you inspired by?
B.yhzz: Lydia Lunch, NON.
SD: What is your opinion on Warsaw alternative music scene?
B.yhzz: It’s amazing.
