Daniel Barrera Aka OS76 is a digital creator of image, sound and cultural manager based in Iztapalapa, an area articulated as a periphery to the east of Mexico City, of convulsed, polluted, murky and rough landscapes that are part of the chaotic extension of the populated conglomerate. The sound production of OS76 proposes the expression of a synthesis of rhythms and sequences that are inspired by ritual, devotion and the street, blurring various genres to become pieces that seek to stimulate and encourage, accompanied by thick basses and kicks that connect with violence.
Vampiro is shaped in the rhythmic disruption that seems to configure a prelude to the deep and playful form of the rite or what is detached and corrupted in it, pointing to different directions but all of them corrupted as if it were a poorly achieved playfulness, something fun but conscientious in the exploration. The track also contains a vocal narrative that shares, as a way of lethargy and opinion, a mantra without shame that invites and demands to obey the instinctive and animal part of the being in the night, in the impulsive of that which floods the body and the blood, which forces to let loose in the wild and the dark, in that which is difficult to stop, the furtive, the present action as if it were the nahual part when evoking the invasion and acceptance of that figure that we all contain but that remains veiled in the everyday.
This track is part of his EP called „Bajo Pleasur3“ release that emanates 6 tracks with vortex and aggressive sounds focused on powerful basses and broken rhythms. The EP will be released on the POSTWORLD label curated by personalbrand who bases his sound research on advanced electronic productions and risky rhythms at a global level.
In the EP we find the remix of the track N-soporta executed by ENN, producer and DJ based in the south of Mexico City, who builds his sound on deep bass and constant search for hybrids and the deterritorialization of club music taking advantage of the futuristic vocals of Hiphoprave.
