[ENG] VOLQUETE is a party and music platform that was born in 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its main goal is to promote artists and producers who investigate resonant and percussive music. It’s curated by Callwso and Remiseria Temperley (with whom we made a recent premiere).
Yapa Rayada is the name of the first V.A. album and recording material from the Volquete label/party. Condensing the aura of the port basements, various South American producers experiment with the mixture between local rhythms and the rawness of a sound designed to scratch the rubble. We have the delight of premiering the track „Festejo Party Music“ by Peruan Philadelphia-based DJ, producer and activist Precolumbian (SoundCloud).
